Leonard Quadracci, MD President of QuadMed and QuadMed Corporate Health Services Dr. Leonard Quadracci has been practicing medicine and directing healthcare services for more than 35 years. Since joining QuadMed in 1995, Dr. Quadracci has worked to advance the quality, accessibility and affordability of medical care for Quad/Graphics' employees, emphasizing wellness and preventive care. This focus has markedly improved care while enabling the company to keep rising healthcare costs in check.

During his tenure with Quad/Graphics, Dr. Quadracci has overseen the substantial expansion of Quad/Graphics' onsite medical facilities. In his role as President of QuadMed, LLC, Dr. Quadracci oversees a staff of 225 – including 40 physicians and other medical providers. In addition, he practices internal medicine and specializes in nephrology, the study of the kidney and its functions.

As President of QuadMed Corporate Health Services, Dr. Quadracci oversees a variety of corporate healthcare services, including healthcare clinic management, pharmacy, rehabilitation and occupational medicine services. Currently, Dr. Quadracci oversees the management of healthcare clinics for Briggs & Stratton and Miller Brewing.

A graduate of Marquette University and the Marquette University Medical School (now the Medical College of Wisconsin) , Dr. Quadracci spent more than 20 years on the faculty of the University of Washington before joining Quad/Graphics. In addition, he established the Lake Washington Kidney Center in Bellevue, Wash., in 1981, and served as its medical director for 15 years.

John Neuberger, MS Vice President Operations Responsible for QuadMed’s internal and external operations, John brings to his position more than 25 years of experience in healthcare. Before assuming his position as Vice President, John worked as QuadMed’s Business Manager, a role he assumed in 2002, after serving as QuadMed Director of Business Development for five years.

Prior to joining QuadMed, John served as Regional Vice President of Physician Integration with Covenant Healthcare for more than seven years. He also served as President of Covenant Medical Group, an 82-physician multi-specialty group located in the Milwaukee area.

John received his bachelor's degree from St. Francis Seminary, Milwaukee, and his master’s degree in Health Services Administration from St. Francis University in Joliet, Ill.

Jennifer R. Quadracci Health Services and Wellness Manager As Health Services and Wellness Manager, Jennifer supports QuadMed’s customer service function, as well as serves as the liaison between QuadMed and its parent company Quad/Graphics. A change agent for QuadMed process improvement, Jennifer helped develop the Wellness Division, which includes committees for nutrition, corporate wellness, safety and a new employee wellness incentive program called Lean You!

Before joining QuadMed in 2001, Jennifer had a progressive nine-year career with Quad/Graphics, where she focused on quality control, customer service, marketing and executive logistics. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Idaho State University.

Garda Stanis Director of Clinical Support Services Garda’s responsibilities at QuadMed include TPA functions, including claim administration, utilization review, case management, provider relations and contracting, as well as plan administration and design. She is also responsible for the oversight of the Dental department, EAP and AODA services.

Garda joined Quad/Graphics in 1991, and has been with QuadMed since its inception. She brings to her position extensive experience in healthcare management in the acute care, payer and employer settings. On the payer side, Garda’s experience includes working at HMOs, IPAs and TPAs as Case Manager, Director of Cost Containment and Regional Manager for Health Care Administration. While with the nation’s largest privately-held TPA, she was responsible for healthcare management services in 16 states.

Garda has also worked in clinical settings as an acute care R.N., manager and administrator. She has also had experience in healthcare education and has published a book on using the nursing diagnosis as a tool for an acuity-based staffing model. In addition, she has provided consulting services to provider groups and employers.

As a Certified Case Manager, and member of the Case Manager Society of America, she has served two consecutive terms as a board member. Garda’s academic background as a Registered Nurse, with additional degrees in Health Care Administration and Management, give her a unique blend of medical and business perspective to wellness programs.

Brian Sullivan P.T., M.B.A. Rehabilitation Manager Brian is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the QuadMed Physical Rehabilitation clinics, and has been involved with the planning and start up of multiple rehabilitation clinics for QuadMed. He has extensive experience in rehabilitation of orthopedic and occupational injuries. He also works as the facilitator for the ergonomics program at the West Allis, Wisconsin Quad/Graphics plant.

Brian has over 12 years of physical therapy experience and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master in Business Administration degree from Cardinal Stritch University.

Robin Schlee Manager of Fitness Robin brings vast experience in a variety of areas in the fitness and wellness industry. Prior to joining Quad/Graphics in 1999, she provided worksite wellness, cardiac rehab and community fitness services at a major Milwaukee hospital. She then worked as a fitness coordinator for four years before becoming the lead fitness coordinator and was most recently promoted to QuadMed’s Manager of Fitness. Her responsibilities include overseeing QuadMed’s nine onsite fitness centers, their wellness programs and events, coordinating a Quad/Graphics health incentive program, and leading the company’s wellness teams.

Robin is a certified Personal Trainer through the American Council on Exercise, a certified Kickboxing and Pilates instructor, as well as a certified Pre- and Post-Natal Exercise Instructor through Sara City Workout. She is also a certified smoking cessation facilitator through the American Lung Association. She not only has experience teaching exercise classes, but also leading various educational seminars.

Robin graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Fitness and Minor in Recreation.

Lori Remmel , M.S., C.L.S. Laboratory Manager Lori brings to QuadMed more than 18 years of experience in Clinical Laboratory Science, as well as extensive experience in laboratory operations, finance and management. In her position, Lori is responsible for overseeing operations and maintaining the regulatory requirements, quality assurance and testing with in QuadMed laboratories. She also oversees all federal inspections required to maintain licensure of a clinical laboratory.

Before joining QuadMed in 1993, Lori worked for two major Milwaukee area hospitals. She worked in QuadMed sales and marketing for two years prior to taking over the responsibilities of the laboratories.

Lori is a Certified Breath Alcohol Technician and a Certified Professional Collector Trainer, and can certify staff to become Drug Test Collectors. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology from Marquette University and Master of Science degree in health care management from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee.

Patrick Ross, R.Ph. Pharmacy Supervisor Patrick brings 24 years of pharmacy experience to QuadMed. As Pharmacy Supervisor, he is responsible for overseeing the operation of all QuadMed pharmacies.

Prior to joining QuadMed in 1999, Patrick worked as a staff pharmacist for a Milwaukee hospital specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation. He has also worked as a consultant pharmacist, providing monthly chart reviews for LTCF patients. He has previous experience as a sterile products supervisor, and held the title of Assistant Director of Pharmacy Operations for a large company specializing in long-term care.

Patrick participates in the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee as well as the Clinic Process and Care Management committees at QuadMed.

Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and is registered as a pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin.

Dan Bird M.S., CEAP, CADC, EAP/Mental Health Provider Dan Bird is a Masters Level Therapist and has been providing mental health services for over 20 years in the Milwaukee area. He is a certified Employee Assistance Program counselor and has been involved in both internal and external EAPs. Dan is also certified as an Alcohol and Drug Abuse counselor, and has worked at all levels of care at a major Milwaukee-area hospital. Dan joined Quad/Graphics’ EAP in 1996.

Actively involved in the wellness programs at Quad/Graphics, Dan believes education and early intervention are the keys to expediting a successful, healthy outcome. In his counseling, the integration of mind and body, and thus treating the whole person, are paramount in his treatment of Quad/Graphics employees and their families. Dan also implements this philosophy with the QuadMed treatment and wellness teams, and is introducing Motivational Interviewing, Coaching and Depression Inventories into the treatment practice.

Dan also manages Quad/Graphic's state-certified outpatient alcohol and other drug abuse (AODA) treatment program for employees and families.

Margaret Underhill, CSAC, ICS; Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor and Independent Clinical Supervisor Margaret has been a certified alcohol and other drug abuse counselor in the state of Wisconsin since 1985 and holds international certification in AODA. She has extensive experience in working with adults who have multiple co-occurring clinical diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, and compulsive gambling and spending. Before joining Quad Med, she worked in a women’s substance-abuse day treatment program, and has worked in residential, outpatient and inpatient settings serving a variety of populations. She will continue the Quad/Graphics’ Friends of Recovery program (see below).

Quad/Graphics Friends of Recovery are employees who volunteer to wear a distinctive lighthouse patch on their uniforms showing they are “recovery contacts” for fellow employees needing support. It was founded by QuadMed employee and professional counselor Bill Arnold who also managed the company’s Substance Abuse Counseling Program. Bill retired in 2007.
